Kids might be biais with the questions so you can then use observation. Naturalistic (e. g. , home, school) - see how they do their everyday things. Structured observations (e. g. , lab)- they have a set of test they have to follow and see how they react to them. Direction- which ways the variable change in the relationship. Strength - how strong is the relationship. Random assignment: randomly assign children to the experimental and control groups. Experimental control: manipulate or control specific experiences encountered by children.
