Social support system = women bonded socially, historically not so much anymore. Men should work more to decrease domestic burden. Historically, men were working and women were at home. Single super dads give more value to house work, but not valued when single super mom. Women make time nowadays, not have more time even if they are working the same hours as men. Replacement value = revolt and go on strike. Androgynous males are more likely to have more cross-sex friendships. Women have more emotional intimacy with more people, therefore not likely to cite husband as best friend while men usually are emotionally intimate with only one women. More support, less stress (22% less likely to die) Social support increases health and longer life span = happier = healthier. Obesity = influence in dieting/eating habits/drinking etc. (goes both ways) Men initiate dates more often and physical intimacy. Women are gatekeepers but men are initiators (sexual script)
