Eg: interview with the district collector in the study on empowerment of dalits . Information obtained - concentration of landholdings in the village confirmed the economic power of caste hindus. Critiques of interviewing realism vs authenticity belief in getting true information versus believing that there is nothing like truth. Positivists and post-positivists look to seeking the truth.
