While living in groups people adopt a common knowledge, language, values, customs, etc. We learn this culture by interacting with others, through observation and imitation. Some times people create this on their own. Some times it is imposed upon them by a more powerful group. Some of this cultural can be materialistic in nature. Some of this culture can be nonmaterial in nature. Male impact on culture: many terms only use the masculine form: chairman, mankind, actor. Some words are related to males more than females: engineer, electrician, doctor, etc. Some words that are related to females tend to be sexualized: fox, bitch, babe. Values refers to accepted right and wrong behaviour. Murder is morally unaccepted in all culture. Killing someone may be self-defence which is morally acceptable. Some culture thinks it is a taboo to marry your family (cousins)
