The visual entertainment of the image moving or sill in pop culture promotes a fascinaion with meaning systems. Its able to produce anxiety around the the power of images: the coercive or inluenial power of images within pop culture in terms of meaning, interpretaion, subversion, ideology etc. afects the viewer. Pop culture is bound up in meaning and image. For berger, as popular culture spectators we do not examine meaning systems ideologically only. We are as much constructed by the text as we deconstruct the same text. Involves scruinizing the cultural phenomenon of a text and drawing conclusions about the changes in textual phenomena over ime. Opposiional not only within their own disciplines but to many of the power structures of society at large. Third, cultural studies deny the separaion of high and low or elite and popular (mass) culture. Finally, cultural studies analyze not only the culture work, but also the means producion .
