Document Summary
If you don"t have the proper terminology you cant create laws for these things. In our society, woman abuse is normalized and has been normalized historically. In reality in primarily in the canadian context since the 1800s. We can see how woman abuse became legitimized because it begins in biblical times with patriarchy. In this time it stated that it was the biblical times where men needed obiedence against the man. We see this in terms of biblical law, it gives them the right to sell their children to prostitution, leave them abondened as newborns to die. It also gave the the patriarch to beat and rape his wife. Right from 2500 years ago and the emergence of patrarichy which slowly stated to happen 10 000 years ago. You start to see the emergence of the normalization of women abuse. What does this mean in the canadian context and how is it normalized.
