Researchers follow: coding the data and developing themes from the codes that are similar, interpreting the data. Excerpts from each interview to weave back the story. To co-construct or to get participant to check the story. Significant statements: looking at the central core phenomenon. 3 systematic theories are: open-coding: labelling ideas, etc, axial coding: identify the code phenomenon that may be emerging from the data. Identify the causes and consequences/effects/strategies used in the context of the phenomenon: selective coding: thematic coding between various categories. Purpose - description of the cultural group a day in the life of a cultural group or a community. Description of the group by presenting information from various sources to expand meaning. Critical ethnography addresses larger concerns theoretical, critical, policy relevant: realistic ethnography ends with the description of the cultural group. Displaying findings through tables, charts, diagrams and figures.
