Stone tools associated with homo neanderthalis and homo sapiens. Long, large ape-like toes (but fully adducted like ours) Unsure how it"s connected to homo sapiens, missing links. Their small stature may have been due to island dwarfism, large bodies need more food and increase resource usage resulting in selectivity. Common among animals (florida keys island; white tail deer) Mostly biodegradable objects, but some things survive very well. Stone tools (a. k. a lithic technology), will always survive.
