(lack of due process, prosecuion) Sex ofenders (nimby, note) not in my backyard, not other there either. Hierarchy in prisons, sex ofenders at the botom. In prison, sex ofenders are in protecive custody - costly but necessary. ^ results in high # of suicides in prisons; segregaion. Increased prison sentences and decreased chances for parol = older age populaion in prison. = more care cancer is leading cause for death in prison (natural causes) ex. need wheelchair access, walkers, oxygen tanks.
