We can hope: we model the world internally and then we act on it, developing models of the world allows us to live successfully in the world, making new ones, confirming old ones, different societies will come up with different world views, learning (for us) might be seen as dynamic between three things. What do we want them to experience/take away: then work to curriculum and pedagogy, education as a public good, something is a society, benefits the individual and the society at large, it is a right, non rival and non excludable.
