Money - No poor people because no money - Everyone is wealthy - The old “commercial morality” was now “extinct” (86), “the people were ignorant of the arts of buying and selling” (82), and the “sacred rights of property” now “were no more” (104). Work - No luxurious needs, “artificial needs” nothing made for the more poor and the rich - money drives invention - All work is pleasurable - No one is forced to do anything, they do what they do best but also told information of the labour they needed - Hypothesize that everyone knows that they like and what is needed and would sometimes work for what is needed (like household chores) - Taking time and pleasure to make quality products that they enjoy making - All handcraft work, there are no machines - “The reward of labour is life” (136); “all work is now pleasurable” (137).
