Its very difficult to sue for privacy violations and win. Many challenges to privacy are evolving faster than the law. Individual privacy claims against the state (big brother) Individual privacy claims against private companies (rich brother) Google sells personal information to other companies. Individuals privacy claims against private individuals (little brother) Thomson: there is a moral right to privacy, but violations of privacy rights are always violations of moral right to ownership, there is no single kind of interest that justifies all privacy rights. Thomson does not explain what makes some violations of ownership privacy rights violations and others not.
