Elections vary greatly from those considered democratic tho those coercing/manipulating voters into endorsing dictatorial ruler. Practice of elections in many countries, particularly newer democracies, falls b/w 2 extremes. Even long-established democracies do not necessarily provide completely fair election process. Only meaningful if those elected have real power & following conditions. Right of all adult citizens to vote. Even though people are allowed to vote, does not always mean able to vote. Not all adult citizens have right to vote. Voters must be provided w/ useful info. Size of districts varies greatly by countries. Number of representatives elected in each district.
