E(cid:448)ery individual as manager has their own context, their own social understanding, that comes into play in every managerial action they take. Every individual has their own emotions, ideas, beliefs, culture, etc. and as a manager one must seek to understand where an individual is coming from, what motivates them, why are they here, what do they want to achieve. In a management role, you may have employers that challenge your opinions/ethics. You can either be open, challenge yourself, and learn, or you can shut down and cause harm to the organization. It is all about perspective and seeing the larger picture: management is more complicated than i thought. Looking at a situation from several perspectives, which can help you look at the bigger picture. The issues are not as black & white as one could believe. Management is complex: managing groups is much more difficult than thought of prior.
