Spread of the slave trade over to east africa. Happened in the 1800s because the slave trade in west africa was being. In the 1800s slaves were to dominate export and disabled the societies suppressed by the british anti-slave campaign. Three main groups that originated from south africa. There impact was they wanted to militarize the societies. Originated from the central part of south africa. Moving up through the desert and modern day botswana. Kololo were very good at fighting and were able to beat the lozi, they took over the lozi kingdom and the royal family had to flee. Lozi royal family was essentially in exhale in another kingdom. The lozi people were ruled by the kololo. There was a rebellion of the lozi and the kololo were over thrown and the royal family came back. The kololo ruled for about 30 years. The rule of the kololo strengthened the kingdom.
