This week at clinical, i integrated the dyadic interpersonal communication model into my clinical practice. The dyadic interpersonal communication model describes the interactive process that takes place between two people. This model also incorporates the multitude of factors that can influence the communication. For example, emotion, perception, and physical elements which can alter the message someone is trying to communicate. My patient this week was completely non-verbal and could only answer yes by blinking and no by shaking her head. Although this took more time, it was necessary for the patient to be comfortable. This was a challenging situation for which i had to adapt my normal communication techniques. Identify four abnormal laboratory/diagnostic tests that one may anticipate based on the client"s diagnosis: glucose, albumin, creatinine, lkcs.
