Justice is a property of individuals, and an attribute of society. If you know what justice is in the state, then you know what it is in the individual 368d: the individual is not self sufficient. We have basic needs that we cant satisfy on our own: people have different aptitudes that are suitable for different tasks. You should just stick to what youre best at. Plato is against being well-rounded: basic functions in society- ruling, supporting rulers, working. A just society would be when everyone performs their required function, and nothing else: elements i the self- reason, spirit, appetite.
