Focused on fighting for political and civil rights for women. Working class feminist were questioning more types of inequalities, instead the working class women were interested in more broder and rebuilding society in a way where the classes did not exist. Diverse, different ideas/form of inequalities of what feminism should be brought about. Society has a historical amnesia - meaning if we don"t remember our history then history will repeat itself. Patriarchy: institutionalized sexism, systematic structure in which men have more access to power, resources, agency etc. , particular beliefs about men and superiority. Radical feminist believed that we need to rebuild society. Other systems of oppression brought attention to is: racism, classism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia. Intersectionality: the interconnected nature of social categorizations such as race, class, and gender as they apply to a given individual or group, regarded as creating overlapping and interdependent systems of discrimination or disadvantage. Celebrity feminism: beyonce, justin trudeau, emma watson, michelle obama.
