The ways in which organisms themselves bring about change in their environment. The ways in which we talk about ourselves and others is a form of niche construction. Labels we put on objects makes no difference to the object itself. (i. e. But if you put a label like alcoholic on a person it does makes a huge difference to the person truly does effect them. Constantly undergoing change because we are always responding to those labels. The idea that we can create new kinds of kinship and motherhood does have an influence of being a human kind. It is a kind of niche construction, we are developing a niche for ourselves. Evolutionary consequences because that is what evolution is about. We need to go back to what is natural and when we were perfectly in tune with out environments we should only eat foods that were natural to our environment (foods that we can hunt and gather)
