When given individuals that is more object based, they are still able to attend even when the object moves to the left side. Sees object in left circle, circle rotates as patient watches and the patient is still able to see the target, even though its on the left now. They remained attentive to it and followed it as it rotated. With healthy people brain activation patterns are different for attending to locations versus target with features. If the brain processes features in parallel, the elements need to be put together. Overloading attention (too much info/stimuli) leads to binding errors. Broad attention allows you to detect features but not bind them. Narrow attention allows you to bind things together.
