Document Summary

In the begining there was a void of chaos. Within chaos there is no seperateness, no time, no matter and no definition. Yet everything that is born out of it will structure the universe as we know it, and give birth to our world and the gods. Gaia (earth) - born asexually out of chaos. Night - along with erbus gave birth to: Ether - invisible matter of the heavan, kept the stars from falling from the sky. Gaia and uranus unite in sacred marrage, and sexual union. Origionally they are joined in constant sexual union. Oceanus and tethys hook up and give birth to nyphs, the spirits for rivers, waters and springs. All bodies of water (mostly rivers) in greece were associated with these nyphs. If the body of water dries up, then the nyph is dead. We see the second generation gods giving more distinction to time.
