Money really is the main component to be an industrial product. Advantages that microbe can compete with chemical industry. Applied (industrial) microbiology and biotechnology: putting microbes to practical uses, realistically, profit is a component. Just because something can be done doesn"t mean that it will be done by industry, unless there is a market-driven reason e. g. , competition with the chemical industry: microbes may make cheaper chemicals, microbes may make cleaner chemicals. I. e. , green" biotechnology with less harmful reagents or wastes: microbes may make more specific chemicals, microbes make make more complex chemicals, so, this course has a different perspective than most theoretical microbiology courses: Putting microbes in applied use m o c s s e r p d r o w r e t n a g i r a t u d e y e e k r e b l. Cleanliness - lots of spoiled fermentation, manufacturing process.
