Explores the links between physiology, evolution, genetics, anatomy and endocrinology and how these things influence behaviors. Behaviorism: the mind as a black box, the most interest lies with how an imput stimulous results in an output response, rather than how it happens. Cognition: there is some kind of process that takes place, as sometimes time takes place or thinking happens in the cognition or mind. Super important but there are too many behaviours to use this theory for all. Physiological: the brain is the organ that makes these actions happen, and this allows these behaviors to happen. Things like learning, memory and cognition can happen within this organ. Basic defintion of neuroscience is the study of the nervous system. Neurophacology- the effect of drugs on the brane. Biological __, behavioural neuroscience. (brain refers to the entire nervous system in this class. ) Mother nature only one rule: winning is everything. Mother nature has no plans: eyes, amoeba, braine surgens.
