The people that you work with/go to school with. Position a person occupies within a social group. Who we are relative to others in a social group. Status you are born into - highbrow, ivy league students, people of a certain socioeconomic class. Something that you are because of your own doing. Set of rights, obligations, expectations associated with a status.
