Video: divide of the sexes (child of our time) More men are looking after children, while women work outside the home. Girls feel pressured to have a perfect body image, even at a young age. Boys do not care about their body image. Fathers hope for boys so they can do boy things, such as football Boys are left behind in school; they get mixed messages. Boys believe being clever is not cool, they think being rich is most important. Girls believe being least important and feel that being kind and healthy are most important. Women have to work twice as hard as men to achieve the same things (ie: job success) women are paid less. Girls are heavily in uenced by fashion, less innocent clothing. Boys go for street style clothing. (images portrayed on the media) Lack of stereotypes of what boys and girls roles are, allows boys to access their feminine side.
