What to do: avoid high fat, spicy meals, avoid caffeine/alcohol, eat small meals, drink between meals-not with meals, don"t lie down for an hour after eating. Intolerance: inability to properly digest food i. e. lactose intolerance. People with intolerance lose their lactase (enzyme in brush border-in the villa).
