It was unimaginable the violence: gettle(cid:373)a(cid:374)"s pie(cid:272)e is se(cid:374)satio(cid:374)alist a(cid:374)d stereotypes, ho(cid:449)e(cid:448)er its (cid:272)aptures the cruel destructiveness that has been part of war in africa. It is important to see these things and experience them in some way so you know how bad they can get. World conflict 1999-2008: africa: 13 major armed conflicts: algeria, angola, burundi, the drc, the republic of. Congo, eritrea-ethiopia, guinea-bissau, liberia, rwanda, sierra leone, somalia, sudan, and uganda: 11 conflicts in asia, 5 in the middle east, 3 in the americas, and 2 in europe. It does not seem like there is a long term solution: for all of its diversity, it seems that all of africa is also susceptible to war and violence and state breakdown.
