Comparative look at how behaviour adapts (comparing different species) their environmental problems lead to adaptation. Developmental study everything (across a life span-change as we age) Social- how other people affect and influence the individual. Sensation and sensation how information from the outside world gets to your brain. Learning- how past experiences influence future behaviour (using animals- control the experiences) Cognitive- research higher mental processes (language, problem solving, reasoning, concepts) Personality- responding consistently to a given situation (everyone in the same situation responds differently) developed over time through learning or born with it. Clinical neuropsychology treat people with disorders due to brain injury. Health promoting healthy active lives (hospitals and government for prevention) Educational work with kids teachers and parents to improve the curriculum Community- change social systems so they help the people using them better. Consumer- work closely with marking companies mixing business with psychology to market the product (best commercial or label)
