Usually a person will have this type of pneumonia and not know about it (not as virulent) Minimal, if any, sputum and chronic onset. Likes to live in water reservoirs - air condition - respiratory. Frequent in areas with lots of people. Bacterial cells from lungs - makes sure its sputum not spit, look under microscope, spit will have more epithelial cells. 23 valent = vaccine that gives you protection against 23 different strains/antigens - wide coverage. Use less valent for infants because the immune system isn"t as highly develops and normal 23 valent will cause harm. Primary viral pneumonia or pneumonia associated with secondary bacterial infection.
