Drive theory: behaviours are caused by fulfilling biological needs or (cid:498)drives(cid:499) Cons: behaviours doesn"t always occur to satisfy biological needs alone. Modern technology gives us more leisure and less exercise. Bulimia: food deprivation, regular binge eating and purging. Anorexia: chronic under-eating, fear of weight gain, denial of consequences of starvation. Depression, anxiety, because of not living up to a difficult standard. Interviewed thousands of people regarding their sexual behaviours. Motives for sex are highly complex in humans. Sexual orientation appears to be determined prior to adolescence/ any hetero or homo activity.
