Our findings showed that the percentage of copper recovery is greater than 100% and this occurred due to few factors. The first factor is that the water may not have fully evaporated which would have caused the mass of the copper to be overstated which then results in the percent recovery to be greater than 100%. If chemistry industries were to use these method effectively they would need to find an effective way to make the solvent evaporate from the copper precipitate.
