Sensory neurons carry messages in from the body to the cns for processing. Motor neurons carry instructions out from the cns to the body. Interneurons process information between the sensory input and motor output. Both of these work together to keep body steady. Not good to stay aroused because not enough nutrients, body wont be able to keep up (needs to rest) Used by ans to release adrenaline fight-or-flight. Electroencephalogram (eeg) : electrode shower-cap brain waves. Positron emission tomography (pet) : track radioactive sugar.
