The philosopher is the one who has the courage to turn his head and see the light. And because he seeks the wisdom, the material word doesn"t interest him. Seeking the good, knowing the truth, and having no material interest, the philosopher will guide the city to the good, to the truth. He alone is suited to govern the city.
