Vegetative material on land for the first time; organic material flushing into the oceans from pre-continental shelves. Consuming large amounts of co2: co2 levels decreasing = planet cooling down. Extinction is only occurring in the oceans. Loss of most of the reef systems in the world. Permian: all of the continental blocks are completely locked together at the centre of the planet.
