The battle of philippi ensues, and brutus & cassius commit suicide. The triumvirate breaks up in 40 only to get back together the same year to split the empire up amongst the three of them. Antony, a military man, wants to carry on with caesar"s campaign against the parthians and departs. Octavian, the shady little shit, starts rumours about how marc antony has abandoned his sister to do the nasty with cleopatra. Of course, antony has to make it worse by giving. Around that time, lepidus launches a revolt against octavian, but for some damn reason he is kept alive and under house arrest where he dies peacefully.
