Dee"s thoughts: look at where i came from? and now i"m all fashionable, and have a car and etc. The mother says that dee knows her style when she wanted the organdy dress and black pumps for prom. But now, we see that dee is wearing clothes with a african american trend. Maggie not sent to school while dee was. The mom always fantasizes about dee, while maggie is hardly mentioned. Obsessed about dee mom is fascinated by her beauty, confidencebut they are polar opposites: mother said that dee has a fault-finding power mother does too.
