Great poem about the inability to write poetry. Novel born out of origins (?) but it"s popular now because it"s so relevant. The house: also sets itself up as realistic novel. Looking at middle class how to rise in society. Mrs. w stands for a large part of england. Starts out right away as realisitic: suggests also indifference. Wilcoxs are more conservative, shlegels more liberal: ws more business, s about ideas, culture, art. Henry and margaret: she has to break him down to change him. Helen attracted to them right away, until it falls apart, but margaret is attracted to it, too.
