Agent of the crown in canada is the governor general this position arbitrates between politicians on who is to form a government now. Not always clear who will be head of government, this position is some canadians want to remove the monarchy. Could have elections, but it would have conflicting ideologies there to control potentially, politically. Have a position with a lot political power which could exercise it freely. Always a hidden issue with abolishing positions or insitutitions. Cabinet is a group of fairly equal members. Meeting where ministers and the prime minister would talk about issues and policy options. People come in with ideas, including prime minister, being open minded about various options including pm, and at the end of the day we chain some kind of consensus tradtional image. Canada is known as one of the most centralized parliamentary systems in the hands of the prime minister. Lots of majority governments, because of elecotarte system.
