Muthos myth in its simplicity form is an utterance that has meaning and reference ex: clock: it can come to mean a collection of utterances that have created a cohesive narrative. Mythology is the process of applying reason, thought, and discussion to these collection of utterances. Logos and mythos both have relation to utterances. Myths are stories but theres much more to that. The mask of the gods is merely a mask. Myth becomes a lie when we insist that teller is absolutely true or absolutely false but we must perceive it as a metaphor. Poaya the result of a single creator doing his or her thing.
