Dominant male holds group of females together, but there is a senior female that all of the females must compete with. Capable of eating tough grasses (typically vegetarian), but also ate termites: always had food since grasses were everywhere. Since food was everywhere, they spent less time foraging, and spent more time having sex. Compete (typically fight) with rudolphensis for food.
