Adults going through incision lose their imaginations, creativity, & curiosity. It removes the child, so the adults can live with only adulthood, but it kills the children. Dust is not original sin, but if it is it"s the curiosity that makes us human. This is great for the church bc they get an unquestionable army, but that makes them not fully human. So you have to grow up and experience the world.
