Description
Construct a Strong Paragraph In the Introduction to “They Say/I Say”: The Moves That Matter in Academic Writing, Gerald Graff and Cathy Birkenstein provide templates designed to improve structure of essay writing. Specifically Graff and Birkenstein argue that types of writing templates they offer must include creativity. As the authors themselves put it, “Putting In Your Oar.” Although some people believe that the templates may be skeptical, Graff and Birkenstein insist that such notion undermines creativity. In sum, then, their view is that creativity is one of the main keys to essay writing. I agree. In my view, the types of templates that the authors recommend are plausible. For instance, they encourage established patterns and structures. In addition, templates do not dictate the content of what you say, Some might object, of course on the grounds that creativity and originality lie not on the avoidance of established forms. Yet I would argue that imagination should come in play. Overall, then, I believe that creativity-an important point to make given messages clear within an essay. Feedback: Try including other topics in hand in order to improve your writing. Do not only use essay writing as your main topic. Plus, create another template for your writing. Revision: Creativity and coherence plays main role in constructive writing. Essays must contain a clear point in their thesis as well as essential examples. The thesis is the main key that sends the message across the essay and in which readers try to find out about. The examples mainly follow the thesis, and are used to support by giving evidence or proof to what the author is trying to determine. For example, if an author is trying to compliment the usage of technology onto the world, the author could explain benefits of the computer. Further examples would be the ability to send a message 200 kilometers from one continent to another continent within seconds. This would improve the speed of working which would quicken trades and businesses. Moreover, scientists would be able to realize discoveries made by others through the computer as the computer not only expend messages, it also expends information and news. Such examples would help increase the use of persuasion for readers to believe in the author. And as the paragraph ends, a concluding message should be displayed which wraps up the overall expression of author: Through the use of technology, we are able to benefit and society has developed. Teacher: School board conflict. The term “education” tend to be related to a “teaching system” where the concept of “teacher and “student” are involved. Teachers have the responsibility of providing the base foundation to learning for the students. The role of a teacher also gives the rudimentary steps for students to comprehend the courses as well as the lessons given by the school. However, recently on the news there has been a conflict between the teachers and the school board. Teacher is wary of the low wages and workload. They complain that they are not compensated enough. This is difficult to understand because for years teachers of the school board system have been following similar salary systems created by the school board. Have teachers forgotten the importance as a teacher? The role to educate the students? The voice Box and flute, and Earth 2.0: The benefits of technological development Technology
