Any material from the textbook, required readings or required viewings may be on the exam. As a reminder, links to all of these materials can be found on the course syllabus and/or under the weekly. I don"t see the id, ego, super ego listed on the study guide. The ego, super ego and id fall under basic freudian structure of the personality, so understanding these concepts in necessary for understanding psychoanalytic theory. The exam will be out of 80 marks. Multiple choice, multiple answer, true/false, and matching questions: 70 marks. Note the change in the essay component from the original posting under week 12. One essay question is the correct format for this exam; my apologies for the initial confusion. The final exam will be open- book, open-note, and the format and kinds of questions asked will be much like the midterm. Essay question: effective answers will be between 300 500 words in length.
