Class reflection week 2 by: alyssa karpouzis 999120179. In the second lecture we ended up reviewing the chapters that we had to read for the class. We discussed how there are 3 types of research. There is causal which is not commonly used as it"s more rare and difficult to conduct, exploratory, and descriptive. We also said that you would do exploratory research first as it helps you to figure out what the questions you need to ask are. Also, if you don"t ask the right questions then you don"t get the right answers. We also discussed how market research gets used. Another topic was about definitive tools and if you"re conducting research or analyzing research, how you would go about doing each one. We also talked about data mining which is about having lots of data and try to decipher it. We also touched upon the difference between project based research and process based research.
