Document Summary

Science is just a q & a session. Best way to think about a research question is to just think of science as a q & Begin with a question about how the world works. Research is conducted to answer that question. There is no research without a question. Without a question, there is no answer. A question you have about the world or how it works. Either about describing or explaining the world. There will be clear concepts (or we sometimes call them constructs) And the research question will be posed to provide a specific relationship between the concepts. When you go to operationalize your research question, you have to come up with a way to measure every concept. Then you have to identify the correct statistical test for the relationship you proposed. What goes into person perception: behavior, context, schemas. Gestures that we have well-understood meaning within a culture.
