Now predict scores by combination of education and income. Capacity to attain one"s goals despite opposition. Authority: legitimate power: linked to roles, especially occupational roles. Problematic drive for consistency (want kids to have high status and wealth) Movement up or down especially across generations. The caste system: ascription based, no social mobility. Everyone has a fair chance (level playing field) Not everyone has the same abilities or potentials.
