What are some of the macro level structures? he sees that other people at his age can do things that he cannot: not all elders will receive the same amount of care b/c of not enough. What are some of the global structures? money, etc: at the most basic level, what george and betty can have and not have has to do with laws, rules, morals, gender, etc. Social solidarity refers to the degree to which group members share beliefs and values; and the intensity and frequency of their interaction.
