Showing how people use to bake and blacksmith back then all these skills are passed on from generation to generation these were not highly looe ked upon. Factory works these skills were not required nature of work changed. Factories need bodies they needed people who can work long hours. A lot of turn overs workplaces and safety did not exist people would get hurt during work. Workplace and home were right beside each other. Most non rural workers worked and lived in the same place. Workers home back then was really close to their job. Worker and residences are merging people have went back to living and working in the same place. Did not have star bucks or place to eat back then. Social class structure- more complex class system.
