Development of dol in industry capatialist society often meant if you boil down jobs into a series of components then you can get rid of skilled classmen and replace them with less skilled or semi-skilled. Marx saw the dol being responsivle for conflict industries. Automobile plants had been one of the main sites of industrial conflicts. Durkheim: individuals of different ethnic and racial backgrounds would recognize that their economic well-being was dependent upon a dol- that everyone who would benefit by greater productivity and efficiency. He argued working people owners, managers would realize they had a steak in making sure model work enterprise efficient one.
