Document Summary
when a template, one strand, it used to make a copy, thus creating a fresh copy of hereditary information. although rates and controls (enzymes, etc) differ from species to species, all organisms on earth use template polymerization y dna translation: after replication, the dna is then translated, first into rna, a different form of dna. this has the bases a, u (uracil, instead of thymine), t, and g. It also uses the sugar ribose, instead of deoxyribose in dna. rna can be quickly made and thus can be deposed, thus it is not like dna which is precious and is guarded inside the nuclear membrane. the rna can then move around freely in the cell, thereby being called mrna, or messenger rna; these are sometimes called mrna s or messenger rna s. It is not impermeable entirely because waste needs to be transported out, and raw nutrients and resources in.
